The latest fifth-generation version of the Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life has arrived. Based on the same elements that underpin the VW Golf and many other VW Group passenger cars, it is the first time the VW Caddy Life has ever shared its basic engineering with passenger car models. It has more digital functions and greater comfort than ever before.

With years of knowledge and experience, we have created the ultimate VW Caddy conversion, ergonomically designed to provide optimum levels of comfort and space. Precision engineering and expertise has enabled us to create a flat floor conversion which offers the benefit of being able to switch from driver to upfront passenger. Not only that, our latest conversion offers exceptional interior headroom.

Drive or Travel Upfront

With our latest design, you can choose if you want to drive or travel upfront as a passenger. Our interchangeable front seats mean you can switch places whilst on your journey and share the driving. The conversion can seat up to four people (three as standard, maximum of four).

Options include;

Drive From Wheelchair – with the option to switch to upfront passenger

Internal Transfer – transfer from wheelchair to driver’s seat

Travel Upfront as a Passenger – sit upfront next to the driver in your wheelchair

New Technology

The new model is equipped with a wide range of technology, media system and safety upgrades. The vehicle is well-equipped with an ultra-digital and closely integrated high-resolution digital cockpit, an infotainment system with an 8.25inch touchscreen. The ‘Innovision’ digital dash has a configurable electronic display replacing standard dials. Volkswagen We Connect brings a wealth of extras, and the free app turns your smartphone into a remote control.

Easy Functionality

If your hands are occupied, you can now talk to your new Caddy. Even the 2-zone Climate control air conditioning system listens to your commands. (Optional at extra cost).

 Partly Automated Driving

The latest generation of driver assistance systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Travel Assist with Emergency Assist, and lane change system Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert.  (Optional at extra cost).

New Body Shape

The Caddy Maxi Life is designed to look slick and sporty. It features slimline light designs and a distinctive crease along the body side. High-tech features include an LED head and taillamps and there’s also a large panoramic glass sunroof.

 Improved Safety Features

There are 19 driver assistance systems available as standard or optional equipment, six of which are entirely new. Standout features include Travel Assist, the autonomous driving assistant which can steer, brake, and accelerate for you. There’s also a driver alertness monitor which reminds you to keep your hands on the wheel.

Petrol Engine & Reduced Co2 Emissions

The petrol engine is a 116hp 1.5-liter unit that comes with a particulate filter to cut pollution. The petrol engine comes with a DSG dual-clutch seven-speed automatic gearbox.
